Shelves: mysteries-thrillers

I enjoyed this book as it provided more background into the past of Maura Isles. Discovering about her birth parents and siblings the way she did, makes for an interesting psychological journey into her past and present. Exploring evil and the existence of monsters in human form are front and center in this series. The story itself was not as compelling as some of the others but it is definitely worth reading. I appreciate the level of complexity that Gerritsen inhabits her characters with. It k ...more
