I am so overwhelmed with love and appreciation for this novel- just when I thought I'd never read anything crazier than Going Bovine, Libba writes this enormous gem. This is the novel with which you will literally have a fantastic laugh, cry at all the meaningful goo, and gasp at during the most unexpectedly suspenseful plot, ever. This book is being released ON MY BIRTHDAY. How EXCITING is that?? It's fate! :D
I really wanted to love this book. I love Libba Bray, this seemed like a great premise, and I was really looking forward to it. But when I read it, I was a little disappointed. It seemed a little thrown together and I really couldn't relate very well to any of the characters. Sure, it was fun, and kooky, no doubt, but it just seemed a little contrived and not very real. OMG this was such a good book I luv LIBBA BRAY even though this had a lot of cuss words I really dont care!!!!It is not preppy and not wrong this was an amazing boook if only a sequal...but sometimes ya never know I will be fine with one book though :D!!I have a couple of pages left.....still

This was such a fun book to listen to! I loved the different characters and Libba Bray did an awesome job reading it for the audio version.

Oh, Bray, you almost lost me within the first few pages. Will elaborate later.
