Worst The worst book I ever read would have to be "The Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. This was required reading in one of my English Literature college classes. My professor identified himself with the main character Ignatius Reilly, and tried to speak and behave as Ignatius Reilly does in the book. I think I now associate this book with that professor.
