Well it wasn't an epic love story but it was still cute and quite funny in parts. When a fairy jester wants revenge on the beautiful laird Hawk he brings Adrienne through time to taunt him. But what he doesn't know is the power of true love. ( I know so corny right!)

I had a hard time developing my own view of the characters while reading this book. It was like they were blank images in my head. I wish the author would have developed them a little bit better ... and perhaps had Hawk actaully fall ...more

Hmm... I'm not really sure how to classify this book. There's time travel and a Puck, so I guess paranormal romance? Whatever, this is really more of a 2 1/2. It was better than ok, but there was something that grated me about it. But it won't stop me from reading the rest of the series. Especially because I liked the character Grimm and he is the main guy in the next book, and I do have a weakness for the Highlanders. I liked the overall premise of this novel. I also enjoyed the silliness that was throughout the book. My favorite character's were Tarvi and Grimm. They put the main characters in their place and seemed to have the most heart.
Why did I give this book two stars? I didnt find the relationship between Adrienne and Hawk to be at all romantic. In fact, I felt that Adrienne was super bratty and often times just flat out immature. She played a lot of games and didn't seem to care about how she treated ...more

I was looking for a good book and I found it. I have not read a time travel book in a long time and this one was well and beautifully written. I am typing this review on the iPad so I will end it because I get frustrated so easily trying to type, however, if you are a lover of historical romance or just good books in general, then you will enjoy this book. I would definitely loan this to a friend!!! TTFN-Sandy

I love me some KMM from reading the Fever series, and I really wanted to love this but it was just too cookie cutter romance for me. I know there are supposed to be "linked" stories and obviously I recognized Aoibheal, but I thought there were some other characters that come into the fever series later that are supposed to pop up so I may stick with the series to get that full picture. ...more
