I love these books! They get better and better with each book and the storyline gets more intense with each page. Claire is still Amelie's special pet and she is still trying to help cure a disease she has no clue about.

Michael the newest vampire in town is still fighting to control his hunger and the disgust he feels with himself for becoming something he doesn't really like.

The main event in this book was the welcome feast for a very powerful vampire --- Mr. Bishop. He is scary! And the idea

I didn't realize that I'd actually read this book years ago in the omnibus edition. Either way, this was a great start to my October Halloween reads. I look forward to finally seeing how this series ends. There's still a long way to go, though. ...more
