Max and Sophia's story: They are great characters, and it was a pleasure to hear more of Max's story. Also loved seeing more of the Darkriver crew. The changes coming about in the political/world scene are quite exciting too, and they don't "clash" with the story as sometimes is seen in PNR. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment in this series, and thrilled to know it continues for at least two more!
