Too unbelievable.
I didn't really enjoy this book, it stretched my imagination rather too far. I read it for a book group so I did persevere to the end but it was not a rewarding read. The foodie element was well done but I've never been to Mexico and would have liked more description of the country.

Translated beautifully to English (even though I haven't read it in Spanish,) you can tell by the way certain phrases are built. Portrays the Latin American magic-realism charm very accurately.
