Too unbelievable.

I didn't really enjoy this book, it stretched my imagination rather too far. I read it for a book group so I did persevere to the end but it was not a rewarding read. The foodie element was well done but I've never been to Mexico and would have liked more description of the country.

The central character was Tita, still young at the beginning of the book and experiencing her first crush. Unfortunately she is bound to an old Mexican tradition that the youngest daughter must remain
