4.5 stars for the quality of the audiobook and the narrator's skilled presentation. As usual, Karen Savage does not disappoint. Honestly, every time I listen to her performance I can't believe LibriVox is free.

I've been sitting on this review for a while because this is a complex book that asks some complex moral questions, despite seemingly being a boring novel with a boring passive heroine who doesn't do anything remarkable and to whom nothing remarkable happens. Fanny Price doesn't drive the plot. Rather, she observes and judges as those around her have their own little adventures and get into scrapes and face the consequences.
