What Members Thought
I love Vargas Llosa's writing style, and I especially love that I was able to learn a lot about Peruvian history from this book despite it being a novel. The different characters, stories, and time periods are completely interwoven with each other, so I'd recommend reading it when you can give it your full attention (which you'll want to anyway, because it's a page-turner).
