I have some strange fascination with Holocaust stories. This was a book that left me feeling emotionally raw thinking of the horrors these people endured. It also reaffirmed my gratitude for the simple blessing it is to be safe.

Saw the movie (loved it) then found the book in a used book store -- VERY powerful personal account of surviving the Holocaust.
