Very engaging and very spontaneous discussion...Goldberg herself is ungrammatical at times but what I like most about her writing is its powerful presence in the moment - I was hooked right from the very start. She never falters and like a runaway train she speeds off, and gets her messages across!
I haven't read this in quite awhile. It did offer some good suggestions that added interest to my creative writing classes. At the time I read it, this was considered the book of choice on writing.

I've been meaning to read this for a while. One of the local continuing education writing programs uses this as the text. I've talked to several people who've taken that class and they all recommended this book highly.
