re-reading again whilst I read the last one.
It was fairly okay. I found it kinda boring at first, but then it ended alright. over all, it's a good read. pretty true what they say that you will be tempted to open your encyclopedia. there are some mythical creatures or gods that we aren't so familiar with that Michael liberally mentioned. So, lot of things you could actually learn from this book.

every chapter is full of surprise, you must read this book
The Alchemyst was a good first start to an amazing series that I loved. The beginning of the book was odd, but intrigued me. The rest of the book was really good and kept me on edge the entire time. After finishing this book, I immediately started reading the second book the second I finished the first book. This book was amazing and is definitely a book I will be excited to re-read!
