Embarrassed, his dad exiles him to a brownstone in Brooklyn, where he has two years to make a girl fall in love with him if he is to break the spell. The storyline is not new, beauty lies within, but Alex Flinn's talent shines not only in her words, but her ability to make us root for the villain. I found myself laughing out loud in the chatroom scenes, rooting for Lindy to become enchanted with the beast, and finally my heart broke for Kyle when he sacrifices his cursed self and lets Lindy--his true love--go. Not for one minute did I have trouble getting wrapped up in this vivid fantasy world. Mrs. Flinn, please keep the fairy tales coming!
