What Members Thought
I don't have the emotional attachment to this book that I have with the Guide. (Oh nostalgia is a fine thing in small doses.) But I think it ended up my favorite. The characters are wonderful and DA's creativity really shines with the rain god and Dirk's navigational methods, etc.

I forgot what an influence Douglas Adams' books had on my tastes. His British humor and sarcasm just...get me. I loved this book and how extreme it got with the characters, just like HHGTTG and many other books I enjoy.
