Definitely not my favorite Douglas Adams book. It is a typical Douglas Adams book and if you are craving some more of his work after Hitchhiker's Guide I definitely recommend this.
Only Douglas Adams would think to put an alien robot monk who looks just like a human (his alien creators were trying to make the robot as unlike them as possible) on earth and have him park his horse in an university professor's personal bathroom. LOL! ...more

Started a little slow, but by the end, up to the best that he had to offer with the Hitchhker's Guide books. Wish we could somehow set the time machine back a few years and get Doug a heart transplant or someithing so we'd still have him with us before the fixed the phones.

Slower to get in to than any of the Hitchhiker's novels, but certainly wraps up quite fantastically.
