What Members Thought
In the words of Holden Caulfield himself, "Boy, that was depressing." I'm sorry, I just don't get it. I can see why this book caused controversy (and still does), but I don't really see it as some great paragon of literature. Maybe because the lead character is the kind of person I come across on a regular basis in my job, and that made reading this book kind of like work.
