I think I should have read this much earlier in life. Kept changing my opinion of Holden. I expected to like it better since I have read other Salinger books and liked them very much.
I had read this in high school and again for a book club challenge. I enjoyed it more this time with out the worksheets and tests. The swearing may offend some but, it is part of the story and goes with the make up of the book. Sorry it's been banned from so many schools.

A very good read indeed.
Its the kind of a book one would like to add to one's collection. Funny , interesting, its a narrative story of a boy trying to find a purpose in life; his way.

I can't read this book again. I read it in high school and I tried to do a re-read of this book and I can't get past page 25. It is a classic, but I cannot read this again.
