Well this was fun to read, written to feel like you are reading a real life young girls journal right to the very unsatisfying, unfinished end. Easy to identify with but sad as she slowly gives up her childhood a little piece at a time. If it were me I would have preferred to keep on doing my summer solstice ritual and talking to an imaginary person and writing in my journal (though I did also end my journal almost the same way, this made me want to go and finish it off properly).
