Not an easy read and shortness of the book is tricky. Thought I read it in one evening but it was a bit of a struggle for me. But why do people go to other people territories, do not respect them, kill them, destroy their home, even do not consider them people and ends up surprised Why the hell do those animals hate us so much? Why?! I guess history is full with this kind of questions.

The ending fizzles a bit, in part because of a very strong build-up. But Conrad's famous novella is well worth the read.
