What Members Thought

I was surprised at the ease of reading this book; and I'm not sure how I ever missed that this book was ABOUT BOOKS. A wonderful treatise on how we can be influenced by books ... and other things ... in our lives. Ray Bradbury's look at the future from several decades ago, seems to have been quite clear ... and so accurate. Although a bit strange, as expected from Bradbury, it was also fun, extremely thought-provoking, and sometimes disturbing. All in all, everything I look for in a good book.

I loved this book. How ironic that a book centered on censorship would become banned or challenged. Guy Montag's character is genius. Very well-written. Bradbury has created a world that completely compels the reader.
