Although written for younger readers, this one kept my attention and I loved it. I didn't know it was the beginning of a series, and I'll have to be looking up more books. This one is a fantasy story that, in it's own quirky way, addresses many issues that not only kids, but adults, face on a day to day basis. Yet it's fun enough, fantasy enough, that you're not aware you're reading something that could be "helping" you. Very fun reading.
