I am actually quite ashamed to say that I read this for the first time earlier this week. It was, I think, more magical to read as an adult than I would have found it as a child. I love the imagery and the snide, thinking character of Lewis Carroll's narration.

Superbly nonsensical. It differs a great deal from the movies, probably because the movies are more an amalgamation of this book and the sequel and other works. The word plays are great fun and it’s a quick and enjoyable read for all age groups.
