What Members Thought

It is a good story in the sense that portraits really well the mindset of that time and invites you to feel grateful for the changes we now have in our society. I liked how the author uses the imaginery so vivid to describe feelings, places, chararcters, but it left with a strange feeling of unsatisfaction. I'm not a writer, or expert, so there is a chance i may have misunderstood some parts of the text that were important. I also liked Hester Prynne character as she understood the importance of

Nathaniel Hawthorne's overly flowery style is not my cup of coffee, but the story is nonetheless moving, at least to me.
