Avevo soltanto bisogno di essere amato per diventare buono!
Troppo facile, così son capaci tutti!
Il romanzo è strutturato come una ricostruzione storica e un giallo insieme. Lo scopo del narratore è quello di dimostrare che il famoso Fantasma dell'Opera era in realtà un uomo realmente esistito. Le parti investigative, scritte benissimo in modo da lasciare sempre con il fiato sospeso, vengono intervallate da parti più "leggere" o addirittura comiche, in cui figurano i due nuovi direttori dell'Oper ...more

I can't really explain what i had expected of this book but it ended up differently somehow.

I liked the way it was told; like someone telling you and old tale. I also enjoyed the Persians Narrative although you had to get used to the change in the narration style.

As to wheather or not i feel pity on The Phantom is not yet determined.
