10 super stars! The h is ethical, intense and H is arrogant with good reason. Loved the writing, world building and characters. Favourite author, favourite series.

3.5 stars. I was interested and enjoyed the story but it didn't really have that wow factor. Also, I really like for my characters' push/pull and flirtation to resolve within the book and that didn't happen. It left me feeling unfulfilled at the end. I will continue on to book 2 in this series. ...more

An amazing book. It had everything. Humor, action, heart warming family scenes, a bit of romance.

I was on the edge of my seat. I could not put this book down.

Mad Rogan is so powerful that he can demolish buildings with his mind. She can tell if someone is lying, which is a great talent for a private detective.

Wow.

Not perfect by any means - the prologue seems inconsistent with the ending. Was the husband in on it?

And...Nevada doesn't really connect dots v. well re: Mad. His lack of reaction to yet another death is less a sign of being a psychopath than having seen too much. Adam, OTOH, makes me think psychopath.

Some things remind me of the Celta's HeartMates series - the Houses, some of the vehicles, the magic.

Mad reminds me of the Arrows from the Psy-Changeling series...maybe combined a bit with Roar
