Wow.
Not perfect by any means - the prologue seems inconsistent with the ending. Was the husband in on it?
And...Nevada doesn't really connect dots v. well re: Mad. His lack of reaction to yet another death is less a sign of being a psychopath than having seen too much. Adam, OTOH, makes me think psychopath.
Some things remind me of the Celta's HeartMates series - the Houses, some of the vehicles, the magic.
Mad reminds me of the Arrows from the Psy-Changeling series...maybe combined a bit with Roar ...more

I loved it. Everything about this flowed for me and I was completely wrapped up in the story. I read a few reviews, that made me kind of wonder how this new series was going to go. I have no clue what they were talking about, I really liked the characters and the story. I'm very excited to get more into this series, can't wait for the next release.
