What Members Thought
One of the best historical romances I've read in a long time. It's very focused on the romance and the couple falling in love. No spy plots, or stupid family mysteries to solve, just two people falling in love.
The witty banter is also wonderful. I laughed out loud quite a few times reading this book. It was very funny. I eagerly await more books in this series.

This was a rare laugh-out-loud funny book. I adored Emma’s wit and cheekiness. I loved the reference to “Nevertheless She Persisted”, and this book definitely filled me with some hope that I’ve been missing with a lot of my recent reads.
