There's so many romances where the main characters have been secretly in love with each other but pretending to be fine with "just friends". Josh and Hazel were a fun twist on that formula: best friends who fall in love with each other because they are such good friends for each other. Straitlaced Josh and the very extra zany Hazel balance each other perfectly.

Hazel is wild and a free spirit and Josh is steady. And opposites attract in the kind of hilarity and kismet that CLo does so so well.

I have heard great things about this book and I really should have believed them abs read it a long time ago because it was really that good. It was funny, sad, silly and crazy hot all wrapped in the package of friends to lovers. The epilogue was perfection and I truly adored Hazel and Josh. They appear as opposites on paper but were so evenly matched, it made reading their love story a complete joy!
