Wow I hated this book so much. I would have abandoned it after the first chapter but this was a book club pick. It didn't warrant more than a fast skim, it's not like there are wonderfully written sentences to taste and savor. It was more of a twinkie of a novel. Trite, tired characterization. Boring, personality-free main character who just needs a makeover to get the guy and have all her big city dreams come true.
