What Members Thought

I expected this book to be a fun read. I figured it would keep entertained for a short time like most YA books do. This book ended up surpassing my expectations in so many ways that I can't help but give it five stars. Made my heart warm and fuzzy. Loved it.

So far, I've read Eleanor & Park, Landline, and Fangirl of Rainbow Rowell's books. I thought Eleanor & Park would forever remain my favorite of Rowell's books, but Fangirl beat it out. I just re-read this book after seeing Rainbow Rowell speak at the Cedar Rapids library. (She was delightful!) I think this book might be one of my favorite books. I love it so much, and I only wish I'd read it when I was in high school. (Of course it did not exist then, since I am in my 30s, and it's not very old, but I over-identify with Cather, so the book would have meant a lot to me then.)

I loved this book! It is just so adorable! I liked how it was focused on the college life, which is very refreshing from all of the HS novels. I loved seeing other writing in it too, written by the main character. All of the main characters were very well developed, and just seemed very real.
