This is such a well-written book. I loved the pace and the storyline, and I was surprised by the ending. The author did a great job of developing the characters and the story with the right amount of detail so that you felt engaged but not overwhelmed. I highly recommend this book if you're looking for a mystery/thriller with a fantastic ending. And, though I wouldn't normally class it as a 'beach read', I read it on holiday in Fiji and it was perfect. ...more

so I give this 3.5 stars. I don't know if listening to audio book gave me a different experience of this book or not but it kept my attention enough and even the big twist near the end was a shock. but it was almost at times a bit boring in the beginning. overall I did like it the last part especially and am glad I was able to put my curiosity to rest. ...more

A story with not one but two unreliable narrators, keeping you guessing about the true nature of events right up until near the end. I read the first few chapters over a week, and then got completely sucked in and finished the rest over one night's reading. Highly recommended. ...more
