Hilarious and heartbreaking story. I felt connected to Ove more than I do most characters. And it's the emotional link to a protagonist that makes me remember and love a book. I was laughing on the very first pages (oPad!) and (where's the keyboard on this thing) and then when I kept reading I began to empathize with Ove.

This is a great example of books having different impacts at different points in your life. The first time I read this, I hadn’t met my husband yet. Reading this through the lens of being married made this completely break my heart in a whole new way. There were so many more tears this time around. This story is beautiful.
