3.5* (old review I changed my opinion a lot ignore this)
The ending was alright. Kinda too easy. There wasn't much fighting, she just found the secret to winning. I actually liked Kelsier's fight to steal the atrium at the beginning of the book better. In the parts around the last fight there was a ton of thoughts and conversations that cut through the fighting that I didn't like. Some actually was important and interesting, but some also broke the tension.

4.75/5.0 Stars. Definitely a fan of this world, this magic system, and the characters. How each character had their own past and their own aspirations that worked to balance other characters out. There were a few more things I could have asked for but in the book but that would just be me being picky.

This book was absolutely amazing, and probably is one of the best fantasy books I have ever read. Brandon Sanderson starts off by developing this interesting world and political system in a way that was great to read yet still informative. And all of his characters were so thoroughly developed, yet still mysterious in their actions and words. Throughout the story, Sanderson continues to raise the stakes and challenges to places that I could not have even imagined going in. And, Elend Venture...

OH MY LORD RULER.
This book, like most of Sanderson's works, was amazing. Of course, the plot twists left me gob smacked. Definitely worth a read. ...more
