It's probably a bit silly, but when I found out that I was getting an opportunity to go to Sweden this year, I planned to bring the Millennium series with me. I started the first book on the flight to Stockholm and finished the third book the day after I returned home. In between, I was in a constant state of suspense, itching to be able to read more and find out what happened.

What a terrific read. This book has it all, plot, well written characters and good writing. I didn't want to put it down, but had to. Often the second book with the same characters is not as good as the first, but not the case with this author. In my mind, Sweden is the country where they have everything pulled together. This book makes that idea a lie. His character, Salander, is such a weird person, but I swear he must have been a teacher in a high school at some point to have dreamed her up.

WOW! I loved it and I think I enjoyed it more than "Tattoo". Now, the long wait for the third and final book.
