This is the ninth book in the Agatha Raisin series by M.C. Beaton. The plot centers around Agatha's escape to the seashore while her hair recovers from the dipilatory treatment from the last book. It's a fairly typical story for the series, and I enjoyed reading about her experiences in the seaside town. But I must say that I was very disappointed by the numerous typos and grammar mistakes in the book (ie, "We'll ear later." (p. 166)) Ms. Beaton and her editor should do better than that.

This was an enjoyable read. it took me three days, two once i got into the story. the story is set up really well however how the murderer is revealed was not as well thought out as i would have hoped. it was disappointing to not get to see Agatha put it together herself.
