What Members Thought
This was an early book and gives the impression that Dame Agatha was experimenting with style and wanted to make this one a fun one, which it is. We have a Moriarty-like supervillain, naive and often bumbling protagonists, and many mess-ups, close calls, near-death escapes, cute wisecracking repartee, and a little romance.

Delightful little mystery, with plenty of twists and turns! Missing documents, criminal mastermind, pert young ladies, dasing young men, everything expected in a good British mystery/adventure by the Queen of the genre.
