I tried reading this before, couldn't get into it, so I got the audiobook with Stephen Fry reading it. Now THAT is how to experience this book! I am not a fan of fantasy/sci-fi (time travel is something completely different to me), but I did very much enjoy it. The writing was hilarious and goofy, and Fry did an excellent job interpreting it. One of the funniest books I have ever read. I don't know what took me so long to read it, but I am glad I finally did. Someday I will continue on to The Restaurant at the End of the Universe....

I listened to this as an audio book and it was really fun that way. Not a favorite, as sci fi is not my normal reading material, but it was a nice change of pace.
