This is the second book in the very popular series by Lemony Snicket, A Series of Unfortunate Events. We liked the first story so much that we listened to this whole book in one stretch.
We'd heard great things about these stories and we were thrilled to be able to listen to Tim Curry narrate it - he did such a better job than I ever could! We were enthralled by the story and we were eager to finish listening to the story at home after beginning the story during a car ride.

The plot twists and turns like ... well ... a pile of snakes. Possibly even an Incredibly Deadly Viper. Bites like one, too, which you'll understand if you read the book.
