Sleeping Giants is a quick sci- fi read that is virtually unputdownable. It begins in South Dakota with a young girl falling down a shaft and landing in a giant hand that is emitting a turquoise light. Fast forward 17 years and the little girl is now a physicist who is handed the job of evaluating the giant hand and the world-wide search for the other connecting parts.
