I love this crew. And I feel this isn't the end based on that last chapter. I'm not complaining though.
Reason why I gave this 4.5 stars was because I stopped this book halfway last November and believe me, I regretted that decision. Maybe I'll change my mind about my rating or my feelings in the future once I've gathered my thoughts or when I'll reread this in the future, who knows.

Buddy Read with new friend Evgenia! (well kind of. We both got caught up with vacations and school near the end)
I enjoyed this book way more than I enjoyed the first one, but it still took me about half the book to get into. I felt like the first book didn't have enough character development and the second had a lot, but it felt out of place and like some of the stories and details should have been presented much earlier.

"Crows remember human faces. They remember the people who feed them, who are kind to them. And the people who wrong them too."
If this is not one of best series of all the time, I don't know what is.
God bless the writing style and the characters combined with this magical dark world is just a whole new level.
Loved how the grisha trilogy felt very different from this series yet still they both have the same touch of magic in them.
