What Members Thought
This book continues to fight with Jane Eyre as my all-time favorite. There are so many similarities between them but the book stands out so unique that it's hard to decide. I don't think I'll ever be able to pick one, not that there's really a need to but it would be nice to know. I love this whole second-wife thing, the gothic mystery, the age gap, the toxic loyalty, I love it all. Maxim de Winter is just one of my favorite toxic men.
