What Members Thought
I read this originally in French, which I do not believe is in print any more, but I am sure that the English translation is just as delightful. It's unforgivable sentimentalism from start to finish, but the skill and wit that made George Sand famous makes this pastoral novel endearing and delightful, not to mention thought-provoking.
