Honestly? This book was garbage. I see a lot of 5-star reviews and I'm not sure what book they read? Because it wasn't the book I read. I gave 1 extra star for those bright shiny ending last few pages. (view spoiler) But the whole premise was just disgusting, seemed lazy and ill-researched, and Millie,

I'm so glad I finally read this book I had heard everyone raving about. It definitely lived up to the hype for me. It's the story about a seemingly perfect marriage, with a slow build that is so creepy it made my skin crawl. The use of flashbacks is so effective in building suspense. I listened to it from beginning to end. Normally, unless it is a novella, I take breaks the same as I do with paper or Kindle books. Yes, I did find a few things predictable but I also was surprised at times. In my opinion, that balanced out. The plo

Wow, this book was very riveting. The perfect couple and the perfect marriage, or was it? I can't tell you how hard it was reading this book and not to scream out loud. To think there could be monsters out there like this. The ending was perfect! ...more

This is one of the psychological thrillers I have read this year! Gripping the book and holding my breathe. I had to make myself put it down at 11:00 last night or I would have finished! I can't wait to read more by this author! ...more
