I've heard a lot of good things about this book and recently read it for a book club. It's a slow start, the first couple of chapters, but when you get into his relationships with people the book really takes off. Count Rostov is an interesting character that is fully developed and multifaceted. He is an aristocrat but definitely shows a human side. I loved this book. Great insights into Russian life after the Revolution. And so much to learn from a man who is under house arrest for half of his life. Remaining positive, living in the moment, and taking chances.
