I had not heard of the pack horse librarians in Kentucky before reading this book. I love JoJo Moyes' writing style and I think she's an excellent storyteller.

I'm surprised by how much I liked this book! This is about a group of women in the hills of Kentucky who deliver books to rural areas where people wouldn't otherwise have access to them. There is a body found and one of the women is accused of murder because a powerful man doesn't like her and the library business so there is a trial and a lot of conversation around the power of influential men over everyone else. Good commentary, best Jojo writing I've read, overall really entertaining!
