I kept postponing to read this one due to the setting, however I'm glad I finally decided to pick it up.
I really enjoyed how the story was told, jumping between different timelines and characters. Even if I guessed them, the connections between characters were well done. The writing was great and The Station Eleven comic book elements interesting and creative.
I'll be honest and say that I didn't care for some of the characters and I thought the antagonist of the story needed a bit more developm ...more

I can’t believe I waited this long to finally read Station Eleven! What a unique, subtle, and beautifully written story. I loved the delicate exploration of what makes life worth living.

I had a hard time deciding between 4 or 5 stars. It was a really great book but a bit confusing at times with the number of characters and all the jumping back and forth through time.

Pushed myself and got about halfway finished. Slow beginning, back and forth a lot that I am just lost as to where in time they are suppose to be. In the author's defense, I am not into apocalypse, end of the world type of things, but I wanted to give it a try since there is such a huge hype about it. Not going to finish. ...more
