This is one of those stories that is all loose ends at the beginning but comes together as it progresses. I didn't understand that going in so I was looking for more action. Actually, 3,5 stars rounded up to 4 😊
I really liked some parts of the book, the relationships between the characters are well defined and the general theme of the book is really interesting.
However, I did not like the writing style much. The constant changes in POVs and time periods did not confuse me but it really made it hard for me to get into the story. I also found the book to be more pessimistic for my enjoyment level.
I would definitely advise the book for dystopia lovers though because
