I really loved the first half of this book. The writing style and plot were very intriguing. The second half of the book was just okay for me.
3.5 stars - There were parts of this book that were vivid and written amazingly. Those sections will stay with me. The reason this book only gets a middle rating is because there were so many perspectives and back and forth movement that I couldn't stay connected to the characters or plot. The plot itself is really nonexistent, even when the storylines start connecting toward the end, it still doesn't flow like a full story. Not my typical genre, but really enjoyed her writing style. I was lost at times trying to remember which character we were following, but overall really enjoyed this book.
I didn't like how it jumped around on time line. Liked the stories of the decline after the plead. Just how it would effect you.

All time favorite, this was a re-read and it really hit different now having been through a pandemic.
