This is the first book this year that has had me so deeply conflicted. Things I liked in this book I really loved and bits I didn’t enjoy in this book, I passionately disliked. Absolutely loved this book, I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This book was funny (Eleanor's thoughts are hilarious) yet it also had some really dark and sad moments that would leave me in tears. You'll find yourself rooting for Eleanor the entire time and feeling so overjoyed as you see her find happiness despite all that she has been through. I am so glad I read this book.

I would give this book all of the stars if I had them available. I've read some really good books lately, but this is definitely the best one I've read in a long time. I'm having "all the feels" as the kids say.
Eleanor Oliphant is completely...many things. She's completely odd, weird, mental, socially inept and awkward, alone, plain, and dull. She thinks she's completely fine. She's not. She's also funny, endearing, honest in her opinion of others, and completely clueless.
