Ok, did anyone else sort of see a want of this novel to be the next form of Romeo and Juliet? While it seemed like a good idea at first, it just became a little ridiculous part way through. There were elements of magic and the ‘spiritual’ (?) world coming together, the importance of family (sort of, which would have been nice but it was such an antagonistic portrayal), love (but a twisted almost inhuman type of it) leading to a point of completing biologically impossible tasks, and mostly more b ...more
